Awesome Tax software

With additional income and deductions for 2014, I was more than a little concerned about doing my own taxes. However, with Turbo Tax Deluxe and upgrade to Premium my fears were removed. The step by step process is invaluable to me!
What's great about it: So easy to navigate and understand
What's not so great: Didn't like having to upgrade to Premium for forms that were on Deluxe last year!

Rocked My Refund!

What's great about it: Quick and Easy
What's not so great: still takes some time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Improved accuracy and easy of filing

Used to do taxes by myself, with sometimes frequent calls to a CPA tax accountant relative. Don't have to bother him anymore because we trust TurboTax to keep up on current rules, new changes and details that only an expert would know. Extremely helpful to keep track of carry-over items that otherwise would be a nightmare.
What's great about it: Improved accuracy, extremely useful to help keep track of carry-over items
What's not so great: Already quite user-friendly, but never hurts to keep working on this.

Could not be much easier

TurboTax is great product. I've been using it for many years and never had any issues or problems with it. I would not even think of going it alone anymore. Why would I?
What's great about it: Simple yet complete coverage with no worry
What's not so great: more, faster links to upload forms directly

TurboTax does the trick every year

I am a TurboTax user for over 10 years. I like the interview function and it is quick and easy to complete your yearly taxes. There were a lot of head help links in this years version that need to be fixed.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Many Link did not work

So easy to understand

Have tried other programs and Turbo Tax is the easiest to follow; it is always nerve wracking when you you're not sure what numbers to enter or whether or not something applies to you! Turbo Tax explains every step in a way I can understand and not feel stupid. This year my state apparently enacted some tax changes that affected my refund quite a bit. Would it be possible to preface the state returns with information about major tax code overhauls that may affect your return? (something simple, for example, income taxes were lowered, which may resulted in a lower refund or increased payment) I thought I might have inputted something wrong, but learned that there were major changes to the tax code for this tax year. Thank you so much for a great product. Also would like to see the investment schedules go back on the Deluxe version for us poor working people with IRAs!!!
What's great about it: understood every step, easy to follow
What's not so great: mad I have to pay so much because of my tiny retirement funds!

It was sooooo easy

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find that the results are within a few dollars of what I projected on my own.
Having the stock sale information being sent direct from my brokerage account made my life so much easier...not having
to enter each sale individually saved so much time.
