Very Quick & Easy!

I very muched liked how the process was done in a simple step-by-step process with the ability to go back when something didn't make sense.
What's great about it: The process was broken down into small manageable pieces.
What's not so great: I had a small issue with the car expense portion, but was able to figure it out.

TurboTax Deluxe 2014 , A Big Disappointment

Missing forms that used to be included like Sched. D and E. I found that saving my inputs after completing a few parts of the process did not bring me back to where I left off when I resumed - instead continuing "where I left off" took me back to the beginning instead. When I clicked on a help link near the end of the process, it opened up a TurboTax 2011 version and someone else's return - - totally unacceptable. On one of the occasions where I had to resume from the beginning when I had previously saved the file almost at the end, the software indicated there were errors to be corrected where it previously said no errors were found!
What's great about it: Some basic features retained from previous years
What's not so great: Missteps and inconsistencies going forward and/or back steps
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I use Turbo Tax every year for one simple return and one quite complicated one.
The instructions are clear, even for the dreaded sale of property with interest.
Thank you for a good dependable product
What's great about it: Excellent instructions
What's not so great: none

Changes for the Worse

I have never had such a difficult time using this program before, and I have been using it since it was called Mac n Tax. I had no idea if I was using the purchased program or if I was working online. When I first went to print the program it was going to charge me as if I were on line . I tried to transfer the data to my CD program, and I never was able to find the Tools that were supposed to be near My Account. Finally after leaving it at 2 AM i forgot about it for two days, returned and managed to find my data (which was not always an easy task), complete my return and e-file. I am sorry that at this point I can no longer recommend this program to friends. It is completely unnavigable. Am I missing something.
I would like to transfer my data for safekeeping to use next year outside this computer where I could find it to transfer in. Any suggestions?

Loading TurboTax is a breeze, I always do my own taxes now.
What's great about it: Easy for the novice to use and understand, love the added comfort of audit defense.
What's not so great: I don't have anything bad to say
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Every year you get the NJ prior yr refund incorrect. You omit the $50 property tax credit from both the total payments and the amount refunded.
