I am concerned that on the AZ return the program deleted the federal depreciation on a rental residence we own, but did not put in the state depreciation on the same residence. As it happens, they are the same figure in our case
Federal prep also included Schedule C and back-up, even though there was no business activity in 2014 (as there was in prior years) and I had so stated. Did not affect tax amount.

Refund made Easy!

I really enjoy using Turbo Tax. I have used Turbo Tax for the last six years to do our taxes and would recommend this product to anyone. If you are looking for a tax program that is easy to use then get Turbo Tax. I like the step by step instructions and turbo tax covers areas I would not of thought to use when doing taxes.

2014 turbo tax messup

The up selling effort by intuit for 2014 was not liked. I may change vendors for next year.
What's great about it: Good Interview process
What's not so great: Change to the Deluxe package forced me to buy more expensive package

My Tax Calculation

I had a K-1 many years ago. I haven't owned it in years. Turbo Tax will not let me e-file without filling in the name, tax # etc. of the K-1. There should be an option to indicate that I no longer own the investment & have no K-1.
What's great about it: All very easy. I'm a long time user - over 10 years

Smooth Sailing With TurboTax

I have total confidence in using TurboTax. Tax regs are so complicated and voluminous I would never attempt to go it alone in preparing my returns. My financials are not particularly complicated so I don't care to utilize a tax return preparer.
What's great about it: Ease of input. Confident of accuracy of end product.
What's not so great: Would like to see periodic status recap of return components as data is input.

I will shop around next year for a more economical way to do my taxes, Basic always covered my taxes
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: have always used TT basic, having to upgrade to do a sched D was unexpected when I purchased Turbo Tax premier

TurboTax Premier is Awsome!

I have been using TurboTax for years. Even with complex Rental Properties and Deduction Possibilities that seem impossible to understand, TurboTax makes it easy. I started using TurboTax when I realized that I had to gather everything and organize it for a Tax Preparation Company for them to simply input it into a program themselves. I would not be surprised if they use some version of TurboTax themselves. So why pay them to input, when you can do it yourself....If you need help, Tax Professionals in the TurboTax Community are ready to answer your questions and clear up any questions you may have. I recommend TurboTax to everybody! Thanks again TurboTax! Another year in the books.......
What's great about it: VERY Easy!
What's not so great: Hard to think of one......
