Disappointed that Turbo Deluxe had MAJOR changes

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and have been very satisfied. I was disappointed with the changes and had to return the "Deluxe" and purchase the "Premier" as a different location since the "Premier" was sold out with all the returns this year. I am disappointed with the increase in price and your "bottom line".
What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax over 10 years
What's not so great: This year's changes

Great Program needs some minor modifications

Need Contrast where boxes are to type information
Continue Button off the screen (lots of white area when little is written on the screen.
Need more Touchscreen functionality. could not move or scroll from anywhere on the screen. needed to be on the scroll bar only.
Importing much better for W-2, more payroll companies included this year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, print and import
What's not so great: adapt to touchscreen functionalities. couldnt scrolll from anywhere on the screen. Continue button. low Contrast
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Sooo Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax in one form or another, for over 10 years and it just gets better. At first, it was kind of unsettling seeing numbers appear as the calculations are performed especially when one is used to doing them manually. But I am now totally confident that the program is correct every time as long as the data given is correct. The ability to acquire my files from all sources is great too as the data is automatically input where it belongs. I just need to adjust my tax shelters as I had to pay more taxes again this year! Turbo Tax is a great program and saves hours of time.
What's great about it: All pertinent questions asked and calculations are spot on.
What's not so great: I have to pay more taxes every year! Oh yeah, Turbo Tax, no cons in my eyes.

Excellent Program

I've used Turbo Tax for 15 years or more. I feel it is worth the cost of the program. It has always found deductions that I was not aware of such as medical deductions for taxpayers born before 1950. This gave me a much larger deduction because I had dentures this year. All in all, I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone preparing their Form 1040 and itemize. It was also especially helpful with my oil/gas royalties.
What's great about it: Ease, asks a lot of appropriate questions, easy instructions
What's not so great: only allows one free State Tax Return E-File

Not quite as simple as last year.

Have used TurboTax for many years for both myself and my parents with very good, simple results. This year, with the necessary upgrade to Premier, the questions were very vague and even after you answered them correctly, you could see the resulting tax forms were not right so you had to go back and adjust your answer so that the correct forms would be used. Case in point.....we have farm land that we lease out with no buildings, equipment, nothing...just raw land, and TurboTax wanted us to claim depreciation on the land???...Just didn't seem right since the land itself keeps APPRECIATING??? Just a bit confusing and had no explanation along with the action being taken. Maybe it will be simpler next year.
What's great about it: Still got the job done.
What's not so great: Had to re-answer several questions that weren't clear.

this is great for simple returns but get really confusing when inputting capital gains information
What's great about it: recovered data from 2013 returns
What's not so great: had to upgrade to premium

What's great about it: I have used this produce since the early 1990's .. and have been very pleased.. till this year..
What's not so great: as you know the change of Forms like 1099=b not available.

Easy as Usual

I thought TurboTax was better than ever this year. The K-1 entry even helped me find an error on the 1041 K-1 that I submitted.
What's great about it: No issues, worked like it always did.
What's not so great: A little effort to determine what was needed because of the packaging.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
