Pain Free Tax returns Again

Have been using Turbo Tax for about 6 years and it has met all my needs so far.
What's great about it: Whole process was smooth and you can chip away it it as your tax info comes available rather than having to do it in one

i have used turbotax for the last 10 years and enjoy the simplicity and how all my information is ported from year to year. i like how suggestions are made relative toward what is entered. I was very disappointed this year that turbotax's pricing structure radically changed. i had always used turbotax basic which covered all my need including rental income. this year to do the same thing I had to upgrade to turbotax primier, ($80 vs. $30). my experience with turbotax was exactly the same..so i don't know why i had to pay so much more. i'm a math nerd and enjoyed doing my taxes myself, i was willing to pay a little for the added simplicity....don't know if i will next year.
What's great about it: quickly walked through all the forms and items
What's not so great: signifigantly increased cost over last year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Transitioned from an accountant to Turbotax this year. Was very nervous because I own rental property, but Turbotax made filing really easy.

My Turbo Tax

We have been using Turbo Tax since 1990, when we first went online with our home computer. We will use no other product because you cannot go wrong with Turbo Tax as long as you buy the product that is appropriate to your individual tax situation. A very simple return can get off on the lowest priced software. I always say, go to medium price software to do even your simplest tax return, because it includes more options and possible tax deductions. We use the Premier (Investments and Rental Property) software edition, which is exactly that, "Premier", and it addresses all of our tax situations. I just don't know what we would do without Turbo Tax. Knowing that it is there for us every year is such a great personal relief!!!
What's great about it: Excellent product. User since 1990. Turbo Tax goes the extra mile to be sure that amateurs like me do it right!!!
What's not so great: I have nothing contrary to say about this product. Turbo Tax is my life choice!!!

Slow but sure

The usual satisfying experience with TurboTax. The step by step process works well, but is a little tedious when they have 10 areas of deductions, and you most don't pertain, but you have to go through every one.
A bit mysterious on a large loss I claimed, without being able to see how the loss was handled. Program sure loaded slowly this year.
What's great about it: Thorough
What's not so great: Slow to load
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments
