TAXES MADE EASY

after UPGRADED TO PREMIER, THE PROGRAM WAS A BREEZE TO FINISH. PLEASE KEEP UP THIS EXCELLANT PROGRAM IN THE LONG TERM FUTURE.
What's great about it: CLEAR, SIMPLE AND REFRESHINGLY ACCURATE
What's not so great: CONFUSING ON WHICH TURBO TAX PROGRAM TO USE

Why don't yoiu promenently display on your advertising that there are "Up to 5 federal e-files"?
I live in NY State and must e-file my familys returns and I still
don't know if I can e-file more that 5 federal returns.

Many good things, but, some small aggravations which are time-consuming to resolve.

HAD TO DOWNLOAD FROM A THIRD PARTY THE FEDERAL UPDATE AND MANUALLY UPDATE THE SOFTWARE AFTER INSTALLATION.
nOW, YOU NEED PREMIER JUST TO FILE A SIMPLE SCHEDULE D. won't BE BACK NEXT YEAR. AUDIOS

What's not so great: WOULD NOT UPDATE FROM THE SOFTWARE

Excellent and easy to use

Turbo tax is so simple to use. It takes you through the forms step by step. If you have any questions you can easily ask them using the help center. I have been using it for about 15 years now and would not change.
What's great about it: Very simple easy to follow instructions

2014 review Turbo Tax

If everything had been included it would have been a piece of cake...
As it is I am still after almost a month trying to get the state state form that should have been included.
I have a case number if Turbo Tax is interested
What's great about it: Tax software easy to install and carry over from prior years get inserted real easy
What's not so great: Version I got did not contain all the was stated and had to get an update from Customer Service - then I list the state

2014 not the same as year's past

Turbo Tax is no longer what it was. Sold my home last year for a substantial loss. Had to upgrade to premier just to put in the data. Then TT tells me that the government doesn't cover loss on sale, next item. Why did I have to upgrade if I knew it was a loss from the beginning. Just disappointed all around.
What's great about it: Backloading my old returns
What's not so great: Why require me to upgrade?

Excellent, though it would be nice to be able to load last year's return with TurboTax 2014. I needed to cross reference some info and had to load last year's program.
What's great about it: Easy to use, intuitive, effective
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great way to do it yourself

This is the best do-it-yourself tax prep software on the market, in my opinion. Being able to download most of my tax forms from the web makes doing my taxes a snap. My only complaint is the software didn't give me my one free state e-filing as promised.
What's great about it: Easy to use, ability to download forms, step-by-step interview proces
What's not so great: Didn't give me my free state e-file as promised
