I am entitled to deduct health insurance premiums as a self employed business owner filing an 1120S and getting a K1. The Premier program instructions were not clear on how to claim the deduction and for several years I realized I missed the deduction
What's great about it: Generally good
What's not so great: Due to confusing instructions missed more than $10k in refunds

Works well for complex returns, with caveats

TurboTax handles my taxes well, which is no small feat: I file returns for 2 states, and have some income from 2 partnerships and a Trust that has to be accounted for. In addition, I have a rental property. All this gets handled properly!
Also:
I usually go with the 'Forms view' to fill in most items. However, for K-1s, it's best to use step-by-step, since there can be some tricky entries. For example, I have state tax withholding done by a partnership I participate in. But the accountant for the partnership did not give me this on the Federal K-1 -- it comes on a supplemental sheet. Last year, when filing my 2013 taxes, I input this withholding in a way that showed properly on the state return, but it did not carry over to the Federal return as a deduction on Schedule A for state taxes paid. I only discovered this when preparing my 2014 taxes, so I had to file an amended return for 2013 to correct this problem.
But these hassles are minor compared to my overall experience. Sp, overall, I give TurboTax an A- grade.

US Tax Code is Absurd, but TurboTax made it easy

I can't believe I waited until 2015 to finally pay for a tax software... why did I wait so long? I hate the complexity and TT made is easy.

Solid, continues to be easier to use each year

I've used TurboTax for decades....usually with excellent results. The only problem I had in the past two years was when I had to file with a state as well as federal after over 20 years of filing out of a state with no income taxes.
Overall...excellent graphics, presentation and logical progression through all of the forms. The audit review at the end has saved me errors and omissions each year.
What's great about it: Guided walkthroughs are thorough
What's not so great: A little tricky the first time you have to file with a state

Turbo Tax is Great!

I have been using Turbo tax for more than a decade. It has made filing much easier and more accurate.
What's great about it: Easy to use and returns can be completed quickly and accurately.

Great product, thorough explanations. TurboTax Premier allows me to file my returns with confidence.
What's great about it: As always, very thorough and very clear. Makes filing taxes easy to do.
What's not so great: TurboTax won't pay my taxes for me. :)
