Extremely Helpful!

I wouldn't ever want to file my own taxes without Turbo Tax! I have been using them for the past 6 years and wouldn't try any other tax program.
What's great about it: Helped guide me through the tax maze!!!!
What's not so great: Needs more guidance regarding foreign taxes paid.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

MAKES DIFFICULT TAX RETURNS DOABLE.

I HAD A HARD TIME GETTING IT TO PRINT, TRIED SEVERAL TIMES.FINNALY GOT IT TO PRINT, BUT NOW IT WON'T STOP....STILL PRINTING...I HATE THE CHANGES TO THE PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS....IT USED TO BE SO SIMPLE....press PRINT....STILL PRINTING.............
I JUST INSTALL WINDOWS 10 , I USED TO BE ABLE TO TELL THE COMPUTER TO CANCEL PRINT. ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW HOW TO CANCEL PRINT IN WINDOWS 10.
What's great about it: LOVED EVERYTHING BUT THE PRINTING INSTRUCTION.
What's not so great: COULD NOT GET IT TO PRINT, TRIED SEVERAL TIMES.

Best software out there.I have used it for over 15 years with no problems.
What's great about it: Concise Easy to follow
What's not so great: Worksheets are not easily availablwe

should guide you to worksheets as part of entry. (i.e. how you want your estimated taxes figured and others)
What's great about it: transfer of info from previous year and quicken
What's not so great: data that does not save properly, lack of intuitiveness in some entries

perhaps I didn't understand

I'm not sure what it actually did when I selected to populate from prior year, but it appeared to copy all my income and deductions, which makes no sense as they are all different.
Perhaps I misunderstood, but that's what the progress bar graphs said it did.
I wanted it to populate the personal info, like name, address, SSN, etc, only.

Can't paste into boxes. Why would you disable functionality?
Can't copy from Turbo Tax. I wanted to copy something from a page to paste into Word so I could do research later. Why would TT disable functionality?

Mix blessing and frustrations

Basic data imput and use is fine, but with more complicated items eg K-1 forms with many entries and statements edits, the program is inadequate, making it almost necessary to use an accountant, making the program irrelevant.
What's great about it: Import of broker forms and prior year info
What's not so great: Clumsy handling of K-1's of partnership, MLP's
