I ALWAYS file by mail by choice. Usually you have gobs of unneeded paper that you make people print out. I haven't checked today. Why no Sch. B info so that if you don't have enough this year, you can input and program save the detail to remind you for next year? When I wanted to open a Turbo Tax account near the end today, I was locked out and couldn't move--then finally a message that the system for opening an account is down. The information on car taxes needs to be moved near house taxes. Need to clear up Investment Interest Expenses and 2% deductions, so that you don't input and then have to go back. Foreign tax credit also could be clearer. Always get silly messages about omissions on the Final, for info which is not needed. Sch. E input needs to be cleaner, esp about Partnerships. The end of the return needs to be cleaned up so that you can print and be done.
What's great about it: Seems to be accurate
What's not so great: The end of the return is a nightmare

Some of the explanations given need additional information, especially in the areas of stocks and college material. Answers to my questions were not always clear and when redirected to Turbo tax FAQ, the documented FAQ's were not helpful> Normally leading me to additional questions. Not sure what you can do to help out.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: do not understand some of the explanations given.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

2014 Tax Return

Close enough to last year's that I was able to skip some of the hand-holding and just fill in the forms myself. Had some stock transactions that TurboTax made about as simple as possible. Since software for one state return is included, the electronic filing fee for that state should also be included.
What's great about it: Easy data entry, walked me through forms I wasn't familiar with
What's not so great: State filing fee not included.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

When the review of the taxes take place, I always question why I have to complete information on 2 vehicles I still own but I have not used for business purposes in years.

I manually filed a 2014 income tax extension (Form 4868).
At no time during the E-File process for my 1040 was I queried for the amount of the check I enclosed with the extension form. Maybe I missed something but this I believe is a major oversight.
What's not so great: No entry for manually-filed extension amount when filing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Have found some errors that and reviewed the interview questions to see if I made an error but I answered each question accurately as asked. I used Turbo Tax for multiple years and each year, even though it files the form 8863 it says that the credit was not used previously, which is absolutely inaccurate.
What's great about it: For the most part easy to use
What's not so great: Some areas are not clear like for form 8615 and 8863 specifically
Pros: I bought or sold investments
