TurboTax Streamlines Tax filing process

TurboTax has been a great tool for me to better understand my tax. The help icons really do help. Also, where applicable, the help window provides a link to the relevant IRS publication. I have a better understanding of deductions, rental expenses, and stock sales capital gains. Another point, I like the side by side comparison between current tax entries to previous year tax entries.
What's great about it: 1) Flexibilty to edit entries 2) Free e-file
What's not so great: 1) Institutions listing not current

Problems with Hawaii state forms

Received error message on Hawaii form N-11which could not be corrected. Prevented e-filing. Community message board suggested removing state files, but the instructions were only good for Turbo Tax Online. I'm using CD for Mac, Premier Edition.
What's great about it: Everything linked to Fed forms
What's not so great: Flaw in form N-11. Could not e-file

Still good program but needs improvements

Did not like having to go to an more expensive version when my tax situation did not change from prior year. Deluxe version should handle regular investments as in prior years. Instructions for foreign tax credits was not easy to follow. Had to get customer support involved to get the correct forms to generate. Customer support was able to walk me thru the process and had great follow-up.
What's great about it: customer support was excellent
What's not so great: required customer support; require Premier when Deluxe worked for prior year; instructions not always clear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Excellent easy to use tax preparation software. I like how it integrates with other financial service organizations to download and populate tax documents.
What's great about it: Easy to follow interview style for a comprehensive tax return
What's not so great: Many of the interview sections are not applicable

Ticked I had to go to Premier with K1

Have used Turbotax for YEARS and never had to have more than Deluxe to do a simple return including W-2s and K1. SO SO Wrong to change midstream and charge extra if you have a K1. Why anger your base?
What's great about it: Pretty easy to navigate
What's not so great: WAY to expensive for Premier
