Easier than I thought!

I was gonna have a professional help me file my taxes but then a friend suggested to try Turbo Tax and so I did. Since I am filing my tax late, the tax advisors were so supportive and enthusiastic in helping me find and correct my errors as well as looking through areas that need to be entered correctly. I have learned all the tips and tricks on how to get help and correct my errors. I definitely will continue to purchase Turbo Tax software to do my taxes from now on. I could not have done it without the sincere support of Turbo Tax advisors. Also, I have rental income and it was much easier than I thought when having to fill out all the necessary information about the income and deductions.
What's great about it: I love the support provided by all of the tax advisors that I had spoken with.
What's not so great: It takes a little of time to learn to use the forms option to review the entries entered.

Great software. Makes it easy to understand and comply with the byzantine IRS tax system.

Overall great job this year.
Some of you PA messages were not in good english (don't you use language packs and check this?).
What's great about it: Thoroughness of interview
What's not so great: Hard to flip between form and easy step
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

2014 TAXES

What's great about it: WORKS REALLY WELL FOR FEDARAL TAXES. T/T GUIDES YOU THRU YOUR RETURN IN A EASY TO FOLLOW QUESTION AND ANSWER FORMAT.
What's not so great: DOES NOT DO MASS STATE TAXES WELL AT ALL. ESPECIALLY FOR NON-RESIDENTS. THIS IS NOTHING NEW WAS ALWAYS BAD.

1. Wouldn't allocate consistently according to % entered in Sched E, 2. Can't change amounts in Sched E or in underlying worksheets; 3. Difficult to find worksheets,; 4. printing faulty - e.g., sched A didn't print automatically.

I have my husband looking for more forms on the HSA because of the dispersal question.
What's great about it: Most questions are easliy understoon
What's not so great: The HSA question about dispersals gets me every time, because I consider payments for medical a dispersal.

About the only complaint that I have for TurboTax is that I usually don't finish a tax return in one sitting. And when I go back over some of the items, the program doesn't seem to 'remember' my previous answers. This is a bit concerning as I'm usually focused on the new/non-answered questions and might not even 'catch' that one or more of my previously-answered questions were left blank...
What's great about it: Good, solid program! I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years! Gets correct answers and keeps track of carry-overs.
What's not so great: Going back over items requires repeating answers
