Need more info on consolidated tax statement

The consolidated tax statement from my financial advisor did not match the numberical categories in TurboTax; and I could not import from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney even though I have current username and password.
What's not so great: I had to guess which category was needed

It seems overly complicated with too many question

Everything worked well except the filling of an extension. I tried everything before I finally found what I though was how to file and extension. I filled out the form and thought I sent it, but the software never confirmed it was sent. As a result I had to manually file an extension, because I couldn't risk that the software had actually not been sent to IRS. When I printed my taxes, I saw the extension filled out, so I guess it sent it. I don't know.
I used to develop software and the company felt that regression analysis was sufficient quality control. Unfortunately, there were all kinds problems when the user used the software. I recommended to management they should use a base case to test the software after regression analysis. I think you need to do the same thing. You need more positive feed back for people who file an extension.
I hope this is helpful.
What's great about it: Good job guiding me through the process
What's not so great: Process seems to have gotten more complicated over the years

worse than before

I wrote a careful and detailed review of serious problems with this program. The review failed because I put my full name for nickname. I used a space which is not allowed. I am not permitted to correct the mistake on the review page and if I go back, the copy of my careful review is all gone, blanked out. Under Life Changes, why not offer Other with space to say what, My 51 year old daughter had to move in with us and the has no income. This is typical of the user-unfrienndlieness of TurboTax. Which is getting worse every year since 1997 when I began using it.
What's not so great: many
