Makes life easy!

Both state and federal taxes are filed 2 months and one week early. I spent a couple hours three or four days in a row to organize and enter information. I used to agonize over taxes trying to track down forms and after weeks of work would finally file on the last possible day. What a relief.
What's great about it: Very Clear. Easy to figure out what to do next.
What's not so great: In comparison to what I experienced before Turbo Tax, I can't really think of any cons.

the confusion created by the software version differences this year between deluxe and premier vs my needs was frustrating

Good Value, This Year

I have used this for years. It is simple and reasonably quick to complete. However I am concerned that the form I need for reporting gas royalties will not be in the Deluxe next year. It was removed this year, but due to customer outrage, free upgrades to Premier made up for the absent form.
It will be a shame if I have to upgrade to Premier just to report my whopping $13 yearly royalty check.
I will look for a new solution.

What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: No web download for Mac users with no CD/DVD drive

Too Expensive

The continual increase in the price of Turbo Tax and cost of filing. This will be my last year of using Turbo Tax, simply getting to expensive. I will be going with one of the other programs next year after using the program since 1992 to current year 2014.
What's great about it: Cost
What's not so great: Long time use, since 1990's, but continual increase

Needs a little more work

Have used TurboTax for years and enjoy the experience. But, this year when I finished my taxes, the State Tax Form had not been approved. This has to be corrected.
What's great about it: Excellent Walk through and file transfer
What's not so great: State tax form not up to date

Got a great refund!

TurboTax was very easy to use and didn't take very much time to complete.
What's great about it: Prompted me with questions so that nothing was left out.
What's not so great: Didn't know that I didn't have to file Schedule D until after I ran the whole tax report using the Premier Edition
