Limited Ability

The limited ability of Turbotax premier to handle large 1099Bs is a major disadvantage, and unnacceptable. You should have a warning on the box outlining this lack of capability. with computer driven investments in stock buy/sells, this will become more and more an issue and stop people being able to use Turbotax in a concenient manner
What's great about it: Well Organized
What's not so great: Cannot handle large 1099s

Turbotax told me that my return was properly prepared and ready to transmit. Then, the IRS refused my return. Turbotax left me with sketchy indications which did not work. I tried to call in the form 8844 which did not seem to exist in Turbotax. So, next year, I will consider my options.
What's great about it: ease of entry
What's not so great: unable to file electronically

You could provide a better description / clarification of Qualified v Non Qualified funds.
Your West Virginia program does not seen to know that West Virginia Credits such as "Neighborhood Investment Program" "NIP" can not be used to offset more than 50% of the taxes due.
What's great about it: Reasonably easy to use.
What's not so great: Qualified / Non Qualified

Regarding filing state taxes. The screen were you offer the additional coverage auto populated with the product with no option to say yes, or no thank you. It was confusing. I hit continue to see if there was further instructions on purchase or declining and there wasn't but the preview of the amount charged only showed the filing fee. Make it clearer - provide an action yes or no so we can move forward with confidence rather trial and error. LG

Not as easy as last year

Not as good as previous years and I have used TurboTax for ever. Every time I finished a topic, I would get kicked back to the beginning of my tax form. Then I would have to scroll down to the next topic while hopefully remembering where I just left off. This wasted a lot of time and became frustrating after a while. Some topics highlighted 'Edit' even after I did edit the topic. The highlight gave me an uneasy feeling that I still needed to edit that topic even though the topic was complete.
And why do I have to spend 10 minutes trying to come up with a nickname that you will accept?
What's great about it: No glitches, ran smooth
What's not so great: More difficult to use than last year

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

I have used TurboTax for decades or at least since 1991. It had made it so easy to reach the bottom line. Also, I can see how future decisions will impact my tax liability for the following year. I can file my return without leaving my chair. Info from last year is imported into the current year.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Step by Step. Can switch back and forth from forms to guided.
What's not so great: Would like an overall progress bar.
