Would never loadcorecctly

software different. very confusing this year lost confidence in product might try another product next year.
What's great about it: Used for last 10 years
What's not so great: I returned product twice for exchanges. Extremely hard to load and software

I have never known how to do my own taxes. TurboTax has made it easier thru all the years. I'm just middle class wit not too many expenses. It's been great.
What's great about it: From a non-accountant point of view, very easy.

I have been a turbo tax customer for many years and this is the fist time the product has not worked right it locked up 10 times while doing my return

I have been using Turbo-Tax Delux for years, and this year I learn that to get the same features and functions of previous Delux additions that I had to upgrade to the Premier addition and spend significantly more $$$. Not Happy!!!
Someone in your marketing department must have had a rectal cranial inversion if they thought this was a great idea to raise revenue. If raising revenue wasn't the intent, then I am dumbfounded by this strategy.
What's not so great: Extremely unhappy with having to upgrade to Premier addition

poor performance this year

TurboTax- I am forced to upgrade to premier for the same functionality that I received for the regular program last year. I am very unhappy about this price increase being forced upon me. You are not being competitive, and I will probably use something else next year. The updater crashed, resorting to extensive problem solving. I have been using TurboTax for about 20 years. For the first time, I am very disappointed with your product.
What's great about it: has previous year's history
What's not so great: increase price, buggy software

I was very disappointed to find out I could not e-file my state return this year. We have contributed to a WI state sponsored 529 plan (EdVest) for our children's college education for 10 years. We have always used Turbo Tax and have been able to e-file our WI state return. However after completing our return on Turbo Tax this year, a message came up saying that we could not e-file our WI state return. There is a new "CS" form for state sponsored 529 plans and Turbo Tax did not adapt their program to it. I had to either "snail mail" my state return, use a competitive program ( I heard the H&R Block program did work) or use the WI Department of Revenue site to e-file. Basically I had to start all over again!!! If this does not get corrected, I will not use Turbo Tax again.
What's great about it: Takes data from prior year
What's not so great: Could not e-file state
Pros: I had a baby, I bought or sold investments

My first time using turbo tax

easy to use but there was a mistake that would not allow me to file my state tax. I filled in everything exactly the way it appeared on my form but a number was missing on the original form and the software wanted to tell me about another line not the error line. It took 1 hour and 35 minutes on phone to get it fixed. when I finally got a tech to help he fixed the problem quickly. now all filed. Thank goodness
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: did not find the mistake that would not allow me to file my state tax
