Help line was great!

I was trying to complete my taxes and I did not understand what information I needed to add. I spoke to Carol T. at the help line and she took the time to explain everything and walk through the program to make sure I did it correctly. She also showed me how to better maneuver through the documents including any errors so that I may easily make corrections. Once I knew what to enter TurboTax did the rest like a walk in the park. Thank you!!
What's great about it: I had a complicated item to figure out and Carol from the help line was amazing!

Quick and Easy

State taxes are generally difficult to understand. The help links were not very intuitive or helpful...it takes lots of searching.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: State taxes do not have very detailed help instructions

when finalizing return, the program referred me to a possible error. after correcting the error, i had to go through the whole bank info page again in order to go to my previous spot. this was tiring.
What's great about it: step by step
What's not so great: does not revert back to previous place after changing previous info
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: allows you to back up and save and come back later
What's not so great: my return got rejected and I had to figure out a really detailed passive income mess and refile eek!

What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Audit Defence error, didn't work, crashed the e-transfer saying there was a network problem. Had to drop it of order.

Nice software but pricey...

I like Turbo Tax but the hidden cost that comes with transferring state files seems unreasonable.
What's great about it: Intuitive software that is easy to navigate.
What's not so great: The extra cost to file for state returns after paying for it with the download

You should know and tell users the proper setting to get the state credit card payment to work.

Trust Turbotax

I was shocked that I could make it because my tax is very complicated and there was a lot to involve. Last year was the first year I took over from my sister who did all the tax for me but she passed away last year. I didn't really believe I did it and I didn't get any corrections from IRS. I was very happy. Thanks TurboTax a lot! It really changed my life and increased my confidence!!!
What's great about it: Step by Step Leading
What's not so great: No phone that can support!
