My Points of Note

The checklist items on the questions don't often transfer from the previous year's return and should already be known by the software, like whether points are being spread over the life of the loan. There should be an "undo" feature throughout the product in case of errors to assist in restoring the pre-error state without having to do it manually, which risks inconsistencies. Why the question did I receive a state or local refund last year? The software should know and default based on the previous year's return. Have a fast-fill feature that recognizes all the areas filled out in last year's return and creates a personalized assisted navigation directly to each area for those folks whose tax situations are mostly consistent from year to year.

Generally good experience. Too expensive.
What's great about it: Accurate. Fast. Price is excessive.
What's not so great: Step-by-Step did not ask about Sales Tax deduction. Price is excessive.

Errors that just take you in circles! I've been using Turbo Tax for along time, but was very disappointed this year, no free filing, charging for everything! Can only file 5 returns? Needs to be disclosed before you buy and maybe a warning when you get to number 4.!

Script error message box

Overall still a great product. Although this year I had numerous script error message boxes appear.
Would have been a 5 if not for the script error box messages.

Too Many Extra Fees for More Than Three Stars

Did the job, but last minute fees for state prep and filing were more than what I paid for the product to begin with.
