Couldn't be easier!

Best tax preparation software in existence! I've tried both H&R Block's software and Tax Slayer. Neither was as simple, nor intuitive as TurboTax. You can't go wrong with the original...
What's great about it: Quick, simple to understand & accurate!
What's not so great: It isn't free (but you pay for quality!)

Turbo Tax just gets better

I've used TurboTax forever! It just gets better. I especially liked the fact that I had something different to have to file than most folks do and Turbo told me exactly where to go and what to do. I explore on my own for the most part, but when it comes to donation of Goods, the guide is a dream! It figures out what stuff is worth, and that is invaluable in figuring out the biggest bang for my buck.
What's great about it: The double checking to make sure everything is filled in

Great program. Have used it for years and am thankful that they can guide me through the forms with ease.
What's great about it: Guides you through all the needed exemptions.
What's not so great: You still have to pay taxes.

Using Turbotax to your advantage

For example, form 8606 non-deductible IRA is not easily understood by standard users.
A chapter on how to save for future should have all of these items detailed so youngsters can learn
What's great about it: Lot of flexibility in forms
What's not so great: Need to know what forms are needed

different functionality - online vs cd

it would be wonderful if we could start free, and have the same features and functionalities as when buying the cd. OR at least ask up front do you want to do these functions? if yes, buy the cd. what a waste of my time online.
What's great about it: ability to do WHAT-IF forms
What's not so great: have to buy CD for that - not available on the premier online version

I hate doing my taxes. But using your easy to use software makes the chore less stressful. I like that I can take breaks and pick up where I left off.
What's great about it: Great software. Easy to use.
