Maybe I'm getting old

I almost didn't use turboTax this year. There seems to be more easy to use software out there but I have used TurboTax for years and am lazy. My biggest problem is eyesight and your tiny blue script as well as your overall tiny script. I particularly disliked the one time you asked me in a review in the New York State return did I answer yes or no to the bribery question and I could not see a bribery question after three re-reads of your program. I have never taken a bribe so guessed 'No' and hope I don't go to jail. Also my nickname is the first words looking at my desk after you rejected 3 attempts. Why do you need a nick name?
What's great about it: Did the math
What's not so great: Assumed knowledge above layman

I'v used turbo tax twice without one issue. this year it was one issue after another. I spent 2 days on the phone, first with customer service, the next day and a half with a their tax professional. I have never been so stressed out and will never use this system again.
What's great about it: cost
What's not so great: missing forms, hours of waiting for customer care.

Make it clear how to "save" what I've already entered, so it doesn't have to be entered again. I put some info in the wrong place and couldn't delete it. Just had to start everything over (it was some K-1 stuff that is confusing anyhow). Also, when printing out the file, give the option to print out only what is needed (I had already printed the federal file, just needed to print the state one). I didn't see that option. :(
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Didn't understand how to save what I'd already put in and couldn't fix one item I'd entered wrong. Lost the whole file.

Good software!

Its great because it double checks your answers, your values and missing information. It gives you peace of mind, in that it evaluates your return and lets you know the likelyhood of being audited. I think its great!
What's great about it: Transfers your information from last year's return and also compares the values you entered the previous year.

Turbo Tax Review

Overall quite good - and I keep coming back. Efforts at keeping user interface more standard version to version would be nice.
What's great about it: Straight forward and logical
What's not so great: I miss the analysis of the details of the potential for audit contained in previous versions - comparing categories

Always Use TurboTax

I've been using Turbo Tax for years now and it's a great tool. I have investment accounts as well as LPT investments. TT walks me through each step, checks my, return, and helps me catch errors or places I might save even more.
What's great about it: Walk Through Process

Intuit There When I Needed Them!

I reached out to Intuit for help. Due to heavy call activity Intuit called back. Nice. I talked with Yolanda.She was professional, listened to my situation, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it! Very much appreciated. Her help exceeded my expectations.
What's great about it: Fairly clear cut as to what I needed to successfully complete my taxes. Love that prior year's tax info is automatically
What's not so great: Had a challenge bringing up the state return.
