Intuit TurboTax: outstanding product and support

Consistent and knowledgeable support staff is a must. When I call sometimes it's great; but other times support staff is sorely lacking in basic communication and knowledge skills.
I have used TurboTax for over 25 years and it always gets better! Keep up great work. I love filing electronically this was first year for me and what a timesaver. I am going to start looking at other Intuit products to use. Thank you.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I like the ability to capture information from a prior year return and the ease to review my filings from previous years. Turbo tax is a time saver for me. It helps very much to be able to complete my federal and state returns together.
What's great about it: Easy to use and covers everything
What's not so great: Some of the responses to questions may cause you to seek other resources

Turobo Tax Premier

Premier works fine but it cost more and I am not sure I will us it next year. I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for about 14 years.
What's great about it: This worked fine but I only needed Turbo Tax Deluxe in the past years.
What's not so great: I purchased Turbo Tax Deluxe then had to go back and purchase the Premier.

When You Owe, Depend on TurboTax

I know nothing stays the same in income taxes, but TurboTax makes it seem like little has changed from year to year. The entries seemed easier this year than last, not a lot but some. The state return, once I got a downloaded version from Customer Service, was much easier than previously. Although I wait until the last days before filing, I know long before that I owe because of TurboTax. Since the state return can't be entered until the Federal return is DONE(!), the glitch with being unable to access the state program was disconcerting since I was trying to do that on April 14th. Customer Service was great and walked me through the process until the state program opened on my computer. I appreciated that very much!
What's great about it: Entries seemed easier this year, my 31st one
What's not so great: Alabama State would not load, had to contact Customer Service
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Can you follow Directions? It's that Easy

What could be easier. Follow the prompts and Turbo Tax will take you through the entire process. Just plug in the numbers or information that pertains to your situation. You can't go wrong. It does all your calculations so you don't have to worry about math mistakes. When you are finished Turbo Tax will check your return for errors and prompt you so you can correct them. Then all you have to do is E-File your returns, and sit back knowing you did your tax returns yourself. But, if you tell family members how easy it was they'll be wanting you to do their taxes. Just tell them where they can go buy it so they can do it their selves. Turbo-Tax has a product that's just right for you no matter how complicated. Try it yourself--Don't just take my word!

easier step-by-step

I've used TT for about 20 years and the consistency is nice. The way the 2014 version stepped me thru each area was great.
However, I'm familiar with the forms themselves and I found not being able to see them until the end was annoying. I'd like to see the old Forms tab added back next year.
Also, it would have been nice if I could have previewed Sale of House to determine if I actually needed to upgrade to Premier before I wasted money on it because my Cap Gains could be excluded.
What's great about it: automation is a good thing
What's not so great: forced upgrade unnecessary

What's not so great: NOT FRIENDY WHEN WORKING WITH THE K1"s. It took me as much time to do one K! as it did to do all of the other catagorie
