As a tax software, ALL forms should be accessible in even the most basic level/version. A consumer should not have to upgrade the software (even a free upgrade) to be able to complete their taxes on their own. The different versions should be there to provide various levels of support and expertise, not access to forms. The software works great but having to upgrade (and thanks for making it free for Schedule D) cost you the 5th star.

They have made Turbo Tax more complicated than last few years. Also did not notifie me about the law suits to be able to be in them.

Getting Better

When claiming home office, stating mortgage interest and real estate taxes is a bit confusing when reading the instructions; e.g., "we've already deducted ...". You could improve here.
What's great about it: Guide Me
What's not so great: Some ambuguities

Enjoyed using Turbo Tax. The only thing I would like to mention is that it would be helpful if it would tell you what lines the information could be found on, on forms like HUD-1, like it does when you are using the previous years tax returns.
What's great about it: Was walked through each step
What's not so great: Help was not very helpful
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

electronic payment
on April 15, 2015

Entering the bank acct data to facilitate an electronic payment to the IRS instead initiated a debit to my bank account for my state payment. This resulted in a duplicate payment to my State because my state has it's own payment platform that had a scheduled payment for the amount due. Resulted in a double payment to my State and no electronic payment to the IRS (now have to send a check to the IRS)
What's not so great: not clear

As in the past, TurboTax does a great job!

The experience was fine as usual. The only criticism is that I was at the very last point in the process, and about to submit my tax forms, when I was told by TT that there was an error on one of my W2 forms. In fact, it wasn't an error. My FLI and SUI payments were added together on the W2. TT said the FLI cannot be greater than $32. I would think TT would know that and accept the combined amount (FLI and SUI) on the W2. It took me a while to figure out how to bypass the barrier to finalize the filing.
What's great about it: Complete, easy to use, accurate
What's not so great: Late notification of question
Pros: I bought or sold investments
