Great Program - but needed to upgrade to Premier

TT is a great program. I have used it for several years.
The change in 2014 requiring me to get TurboTax Premier just because Capital Gains are no longer included in TurboTax Deluxe was very disappointing. I will not continue to use TT in the future if this is not changed back in the 2015 TT software.
What's great about it: easy to use - very complete program
What's not so great: not happy that I had to upgrade to TT Premier this year. Had always used TT Deluxe in past years.

Excellent Product

I love that it found things that I never would have noticed. I love that it transfers my data from one year to the next so I don't have to duplicate my efforts. Excellent Product.

Usually a big fan of TurboTax

I have used Turbo Tax successfully for years. However this year I had issues filing my state return. Specifically I was disappointed that the system seemed to be in a loop at times.
In addition, the W-2 information from the Federal forms did not transfer over the total amount earned correctly and prevented me from e-filing my state return
What's great about it: Great guidance
What's not so great: issues with State Review
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is a time SAVER

I've used TurboTax for many, many years (since the early 90s) and it just gets better every year. It saves hours of my time having to input income data - by hours I mean at least 20-30 hours! And it is thorough, I never miss a deduction!
What's great about it: Tax information transfers

Turbo Tax Premier

Turbo Tax is very easy to use but I recommend taking a tax course if your taxes are getting complicated. Collecting the necessary documentation for each whole year is the most important part of preparing our tax returns. If you know the Federal and State laws that apply to your return, you can have all of the necessary information at hand and make a correct return or returns easy to prepare. Turbo Tax can take your hand and guide you through the entire process, but you need to know what documents and other information are going to be important for your return before you start preparing your return.
What's great about it: I could navigate to only what I needed.
What's not so great: Some state (Arizona) items were not explained, found online.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax premier did not work for the state taxes

I really like the Turbotax product as I have used it for several years, but this year 2014 the state portion in the premier version did not work and I had to file my state taxes manually. It appeared to be stuck in a loop and never went into the state tax portion. I tried all of the suggestions to fix it and nothing worked. Turbotax had a better product last year (2013) with no problems. 2014 Turbo tax premier should be giving a refund for it NOT working correctly for the state portion.
What's great about it: The federal tax portion worked great
What's not so great: Turbo tax premier did not work for the Colorado state taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Excellent program

Turbo tax need to add more federal tax form to their site especially, the forms that are rarely used. They are offering a service to the public. Why go into it half way, they should give it 100% and delivery must be darn good. in order to get the best ratings. I was missing a few forms and there is no tool link, where one could go and get additional forms. The programs before were different. I have been using Turbo Tax since 2001 and I have never had this problem before now. So I am asking all the Techs to look into this matter.

Buggy w/NJ

Doing my NJ return...Went thru overpayment options, 1st pass I mistakenly checked off to apply my overpayment to next years taxes. After I discovered mistake, I went back to change to receiving a refund and the application would not accept my change.
Disappointing.
