Easy to use

Was very disappointed in the Turbo Tax programs this year. Had to pay extra only to find out that I didn't even need to use that information. The original "package" was much more expensive this year also.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and review
What's not so great: Had to pay for a lot that I didn't need.

Mostly Painless Tax Prep

At purchase I missed that e-File is only included for FED. I missed because it never says it is included. Nor does it say it is not included and that there would be a charge for e-filing a STATE return at the end of the process. There is a world of difference in saying something is not included and omitting any mention of STATE e-filing thus allowing a potential customer to assume it is there because it is for the FED. This really left a bad taste after what was mostly an easy experience. If the consumer buys electronic software to do their taxes expecting electronic filing is included is reasonable. If you buy FED and STATE tax prep then an e-filing capability for at least the first state filing should be included at no extra charge.
If you are going to charge extra for e-filing STATE it should be abundantly clear in the product literature so the consumer knows about the additional charges. This is a lesson Intuit should have learned when they tried to charge extra for FED forms that were previously free..
Bad enough I have to pay extra to the state but to have to pay twice because TTAX charges extra just sort stinks.
What's great about it: All the forms I needed were included
What's not so great: Charging extra to efile STATE returns stinks and it didn't print the eFILE form after I paid for it

I Love Turbo Tax! Every year it gets easier!

I've always enjoyed using Turbo Tax. One year I tried a competitor and there was NO comparison, I got halfway through and switched back to Turbo Tax. I went on to teach my now grown children use Turbo Tax, Then the even taught their friends how to file there own taxes with Turbo Tax. Two generation fans for sure! Its so easy to use, especially the ability to transfer last years info, then delete and update as you go-Awesome! The ability to import from financial institutions and other software, means I don't have to go box by box. Great time saver!
What's great about it: Definate Pro- Importing Tax Forms!
What's not so great: Hmm, other than the software cost goes up every year, and my refund goes down every year, no real Cons!

Perfect Again!

Year after year, Turbo Tax is the easiest, most complete, and fastest at making correction, if needed. No smoke and mirrors, just honest Step by Step instructions.
What's great about it: Step by Step approach is user friendly and Help section is easy to navigate
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
