Easy filing!

Easy format. Sometimes it seems to generate an unneeded form and then you have difficulty getting rid of it!
What's great about it: Importing from year before saves time!
What's not so great: Extra expense for state filing!

Accurate

Before TurboTax, I'd rather and fill out all the forms, rather and read IRS publications then check and double check everything. I still double check, and only read publications I need to better understand. TurboTax makes the paper work and the math no problem.
What's great about it: Imports from Banks and Brokers placed right on forms
What's not so great: None

Purchase of Turbo Tax

I believe that I am a regular household person who is a homeowner. What makes you think that regular homeowner would not have some stocks bonds or other investments? I was ready to dump TurboTax, which I have used for over 20 years because of you trying to get a few more dollars from me. I get the deluxe which should take care of a regular person, lets keep it that way and you will keep me a happy customer of your products

I am extremely confident that Turbo Tax is finding all the deductions that will give me the best refund that I can receive and not have to pay the high cost of using a preparer. You can take your time and do your taxes when it is convenient for you. I plan on using Turbo tax again next year.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to follow
What's not so great: There needs to be better information in the area of sale of stocks

Great product. We have used it for years and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: good understandable instructions. The interview process is very helpful
What's not so great: State tax, especially the HC forms were confusing.

Phew! Survived again

I have used Turbo Tax for years with great results. It has my trust. However this year I had to upgrade to premier. I have one rental property and last year was able to do it with Deluxe at less cost.
I do like how easy it is to answer the questions and at the end, have Turbo Tax check it over a couple of times for accuracy. I feel confident when my return is submitted.

2014 Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax is the only way for me to do my taxes. I even have my son doing his now with TT. Easy to flow and move around to various sections within the program. I paid for the Audit Defense this year. Doubt I'll need it but thought the price was right. The only thing I don't like is having to re-answer the questions at the end of a section once you've completed them already and are just reviewing that particular part. Still love and trust Turbo Tax. Thank you.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and move back and forth between areas.
What's not so great: Some confusion on personal property tax for vehicles.

Not very helpful

I use a spreadsheet to track and record my tax related expenses over the course of the year so I would like to be able to import that data into the worksheets in turbotax but it appears the only way to enter it is by hand, retyping it or cut and paste. Not very helpful.
