What's great about it: can just key stuff in, if I figure out what you need
What's not so great: little hard to decipher needed info

ACA IS NOT REALLY EASY TO COMPLETE

I had a great of difficulty in using the information on my 1095-A and the TT program. I'm not even sure that my return is correct as I never had to input the amount I paid for insurance for a 3 month period, it was clearly stated on the 195-A.
What's not so great: NO GUIDANCE IN COMPLETING THE ACA RELATED FORMS
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Our Taxes

Like it and after all these years I getting faster. It took only 4 hours to day. Also the payment system is to complex.
What's great about it: Easy for a retired old man to understand
What's not so great: It would be nice to click on a word and find out the meaning. I had to go to a web site to find a few of them.

Too Easy

I am using the CD/download version of TurboTax. For my tax situation it is complete, in fact I could probably use a less costly version. The context sensitive help is great, and only a click away. There is a lot of agreements this year, but in this age of cyber privacy issues, I'm OK with it.
What's great about it: Simple straight forward questions, basic help is only a click away
What's not so great: There just arn't any

Poor Pricing Policy

Very disappointed in the manner in which the pricing was done. Have me buy the program, start do my taxes, and then tell me I have to upgrade while I'm completing a section that has always historically been included. Then apologize and make me chase you for a refund.
I will seriously consider another program after 25 years with Turbo Tax.

What's not so great: They nickled and dimed this year

Turbo Tax remains my number one resource for trust and confidence in accurately filing my taxes!
What's great about it: Latest updates on tax law changes. Fastest refund!
What's not so great: Additional fees should be offered as a total cost upfront to eliminate surprises just before e-filing.
