Easy Peasy Tax Preparation

I have used TurboTax for years and years. The software keeps getting better and better. Would like to see the software do more comparative checks (last versus current year) with regards to Traditional & Roth IRA withdrawals -- and prompt me if it looks like I may have forgotten to enter a withdrawal.
What's great about it: (1) Easy & Clear instructions to fill out tax return, (2) Helpful & easy to understand explanation of tax terminology
What's not so great: Didn't use previous years info to prompt me to enter IRA withdrawals

Turbo Tax 2014

I have used Turbo Tax for years and have always been happy with it. I feel very confident that I have done things correctly. They break it down to simple terms.
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to get to a certain section

Another Year Done

I started using TurboTax after having my taxes done for many years because I thought it would be too difficult with my rental property. The first year it took a while to get it setup. I used the tax return from the accountant the year before. It wasn't that bad as TurboTax walked me through step by step. Now, it's a beautiful thing (like the picture#. Plug in the information and you can spend the extra time on doing what you like to do. P.S. One year I had a problem #I put the wrong info in one cell). I called TurboTax and they helped me find the mistake. Thank you.
What's great about it: It walks you through step by step and keeps all the information from year to year.
What's not so great: None

Terror Free Tedious Taxes

Used Turbo-Tax for many years. Automatically capturing information from the previous year saves lots of time getting "into" doing my taxes through ease of use. But, over the years there is almost too much conversational mentoring, font changes, font colors, font sizes until it's hard to determine the actions to take. But, if you trust the flow and have your information ready #which a returning user would be used to by now# it's feed the beast and get it done without all the panic. Good stuff on a tough subject.
What's great about it: Automatically picks up where I left off last year and walks me through it
What's not so great: A little too much emphasis on conversational mentoring that results in busy pages

Long-time Fan of TurboTax

I've used TurboTax (Premium now, originally more basic editions) for over 10 years to do my taxes and my partner's. Before that, I did my own taxes the old-fashioned way--picked up the forms at the library and completed them by hand.
Needless to say, there is no comparison.
One of the biggest advantages to using TurboTax year after year is its ability to load information from our previous filing and automatically complete fields for me that are likely to be the same, highlight things I completed the year before but have left blank, and give me year-to-year comparisons across every category of interest. This gives us valuable planning information as well as making completing our tax forms infinitely easier and quicker.
It seems that TurboTax gets easier and more intuitive every year, even as the tax code inevitably gets more complex. I suspect I'll be using it for a long time to come.
What's great about it: TurboTax gets better and easier every year
What's not so great: Some pre-filled forms from accountants can be hard to enter
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TurborTax is the Best!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have always been pleased. This year taxes were very difficult but I was able to understand how to enter each tax form.
What's great about it: Each step provides easy walk through and pop up explanations
