OK but needs work

As usual most people's returns would be covered well by Easy Step. My case which included AMT came up with conflicting advice, requiring more work. I was not able to identify easily the cause of straying into AMT or a plan to avoid/minimize it in the future. The normal ESO or high tax state triggers didn't apply.
What's great about it: Easy step worked well for most items.
What's not so great: Printing required an online connection. Not Private enough please fix it.

Consistently good software

I have used Turbo Tax for filing my tax returns for many years and find it easy to use, accurate, and the results dependable.
Only a couple of issues in the past and current with filing multiple state returns, but simple to over come.
I have used both the individual and business versions of the software and highly recommend for any user wishing to file their own tax returns.
What's great about it: Easy to use and easy to complete forms accurately
What's not so great: Can not think of any.

Can't do without it!

We have been using Turbo Tax for the past five years and it has never failed to be complete and easy to use. Our life has gone through several changes during this time and Turbo Tax has handled ALL of this without losing a step. I will not even look at other tax preparation methods than Turbo Tax! ! ! !
What's great about it: Easy, complete. professional, good value
What's not so great: slow

Easy to use and they don't allow a return to go out until all is correct. I have done it for a couple of years and everything is here and easy to use.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Disappointed

This year's TurboTax was a great disappointment. Directions were not always clear, and I had to re-do some sections several times to get it right. I was especially disappointed in the state (Oklahoma) portion. Figures were not transferred, there were no clear directions on how to get amounts needed, or where to get these figures. It was wasted money spent. I had to go to state issued directions that I got from the internet. I have used TurboTax for several years now, but I will seriously consider changing next year.
What's great about it: Easy to get started
What's not so great: Lack of clear explanations

Had to use a workaround to input all my 1099-R's.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Limited number of 1099-R input and transfer.
