Worst Ever

You left me hanging with an unfiles federal tax form. Not sure I will ever use you again! I bet the federal aduit will be fun this year. Thanks alot!
What's great about it: East to fill out
What's not so great: Could not use E file because of a TIN problem. That you offered no fix for at all. No way to contact turbo tax by phone

Makes big job smaller

Because some info wasn't included on my 2014 l099-B form some info wasn't placed in the correct place, As a result the numbers were included in 2 places, making my tax liability double. It was difficult to get to the place to be able to delete the numbers not desired. But, it finally worked out. Thank you!
What's great about it: Much easier & friendly in using this year
What's not so great: Hard to get back to some areas for changes in info

Turbo Tax saved me time and worry. I bought it this year because of the investment portion. I don't know why I hadn't used it before.
What's great about it: Imported investment information and did the calculations.

Worth to spend on Turbo Tax software, filing own

What's great about it: smoth flow and easy for simple return
What's not so great: some revisit asking same questions again
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Can't Open Page to file a return

The software worked as expected, maybe even better than years past. That is, until I got to the file a return page. The page would not load so I could actually file. This is highly frustrating as I wanted to electronically file. I guess I will have to print the return out and mail it in, if it will allow me to do even that.
What's great about it: All worked as in previous years.
What's not so great: Could not file the return because could not open "File a Return" page.

deductions

I felt I had to go to forms to make sure I was getting necessary deductions such as sales tax and medical expends. TT just jumped to standard deduction. I ended up with slightly more in itemized than would have received thru TT.

Saved some money eventhough I paidback

There are to many hidden boxes and questions that do not leave or have any explanation on how to continue the process other than by trial and error and a big waste of time example: making quarterly payments to the IRS, I did not select that button but it said I did, I went back and press EDIT but would not edit. in order to correct it I had to start all over again. maybe having some laymen folks review the product other than the PROS you might be able to find out if it is user friendly or not. other example question below; Do you have kids? answer 1 I have Kids A2 I don't have kids I have but not for tax purposes
What's great about it: maybe next year I'll be able to tell you what I liked
What's not so great: not a good user friendly product
