happy with everything but some Iowa glitches.

Everything went smoothly, except for a couple of glitches in the Iowa tax form. It seems they wanted info that didn't exist, and I couldn't override it. Otherwise, I am always very satisfied with Turbo Tax program.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Turbo Tax is great, but it takes forever to collect, organize and list what gov. demands. I'm for Flat Tax.

I deeply resent being forced to purchase and use a more expensive product to get the forms I've been using for several years.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use for an unnecessarily complicated process.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

A Rocky Experience

As with other long-time users, Intuit's unannounced decision to change certain functions from Deluxe to Premier was both unwelcome and unexpected. To its credit, after extended time on the telephone and with various service agents, Intuit did the right thing and provided a free upgrade. Frustration, and time left on hold, made any money saved almost irrelevant.
There were two problems with the software that emerged part way through preparation: long-term investment sale was not clearly and readily computed, and partial State exclusion of pension income was much more difficult than in previous years. Inexplicably, the latter did not automatically roll forward, and the factors used were obscure.
On Balance, Turbo Tax has gone from Five Stars to a (weak) Three Stars.
What's great about it: Data Transfer From Previous Years and From Other Sources Us Generally God
What's not so great: Software Changed Between Packages Year-On-Year; A Few Clunkers With Computation
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great help

When making entries for K1 it requires all the information to be entered and the says Good news you don't need to enter it because the IRA box is checked. If by chance you enter a line for a code which is 0 you have to redo the whole K1 to get rid of it. We did individuals and joint return. It would be nice to have a way of combining the individuals for the joint return.
What's great about it: Handled K1s
What's not so great: Once You start an entry you can't undo
