Turbo Tax 2014 Slacks

Disappointed that Turbo tax did not import my files from 2013 making things time consuming. I also had problems amending/deleting vehicle depreciation amounts for travel between jobs. It wasn't very nice changing forms in versions (Deluxe, Premier, etc.) without letting people know in advance. I've used Turbo Tax for at least ten years and this year's product left much to be desired. I may have to consider an alternative.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax was its reliable self except for the issues listed below
What's not so great: Would not import last year's file; Problems amending form 8824,Changing forms from previous versions

Although the program is great, I resent having to shell out extra to get form E, especially as I had only 2 numbers to enter in!
What's great about it: easy to use and accurate
What's not so great: Had to shell out extra while online to get form E.

Easy User experience

Overall the TurboTax user experience makes filling taxes as stress free as possible. I am thankful for it and have been doing my taxes this way from the beginning of TurboTax.
One minor irritation:
The "Continue" button is always on the bottom which means every time you have to scroll to the bottom of the screen on laptops to get to it even if you don't need to review anything. Button should be on both the top and bottom. This is a minor detail but on some returns this then has to be done like 50 times.

I don't enjoy doing taxes, but this was the best way to get through them.
What's great about it: Your help personal are great they walked me through capital gains
What's not so great: I did not encounter any this year
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Tax time without a sweat

A friend of mine has been doing taxes for his four children and most of his friends for years. He never understood why I was going to an accountant with all my documents in order just to have the numbers entered. I had the fear of the unknown.
Three years ago I decided to do my own taxes and I could not believe filing was so easy. Now I am recommending Turbo Tax to everybody.
