Great product

1. My return was fairly simple. The taxable income number in the final form 1040 was different from break down in the income section and I can't find any clue why.
2. My computer is a windows 8.1 on a high resolution screen, some screens were not properly scaled, e.g. efiling, which were hard to see.
What's great about it: Easy and smooth
What's not so great: numbers I don't understand

I have used TurboTax (and MacInTax) for over 30 years. 'Not going to change now.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Saves a Lot of Anguish

I find the program pretty straight forward but becomes complex with investments. If my financial information was not downloadable it would have been very difficult I believe. And when i did download i found you had to erase the current file in Turbo Tax or it would show your information twice.
I ofter wonder what happens with early filers when there are so many changes to the program. If there is an error I wonder whose fault it would be if you filed before all the changes were downloaded which go on into April :)
What's great about it: STraight Forward
What's not so great: Costs, Ease of use
Pros: I bought or sold investments

It's OK...I guess!

In days gone by I seemed to be able to understand what was being accomplished in the software as it related to the tax computations. Now it seems like it is a secret or something. It appears that in your efforts to appease the masses you have removed the understanding that I once had with the early versions of the software.
This year I made the mistake of attempting to amend my tax forms to incorporate a late 1099. I did this without properly saving my original filing. I submitted questions regarding possible fixes...without response. So, I labored attempting to recreate the original file. What a waste of time!
I suggest that you make it clearer to the user of the issues that occur when you click the "amend" button.
What's great about it: I am somewhat use to how it operates.
What's not so great: I am somewhat used to how it operates.

Just OK

I've been using this program for 20 years.
I LIKE the easy step by step system. I like the supporting info you can add and print out for reference next year.
I DON'T like that it won't import last year's supporting data.
I LIKE the person that helped me out on the phone! She was very friendly and helpful.
I DON'T like the user interface. It's gone the way of most modern "apps", apparently geared towards tablets. Who would do their taxes on a tablet?. I find it non-intuitive. It takes #me# too long to locate what should be fingertip info, such as context sensitive help, and direct link to related IRS tax code pages. Now, when I click "help" I'm sent to a web site where I have to log in and begin searching for help from scratch. That's completely inadequate.
The program asks esoteric questions #generally during the checkup stage# which they don't bother to explain the meaning of.
The program asks for information from prior year's returns that it has access to. This is particularly annoying because the programmers LOVE to brag about how they just made your life SO EASY because they've imported your information.
I DON'T like the advertisements you have to be read thru and "no thanks".
I DON'T like the review screens where I find the highlighted corrections don't display entirely in view and are not very obvious. I gather they are highlighted blue, but there's also yellow boxes. How about RED or an arrow?
I DON'T like the dopey pictures of smiling people looking at me, especially when TT asked me a question I have no idea how to answer. "you can report this figure here on form xyz, but you may want to report it on form wxy" Really? Why?
They say it's compatible with XP, but it's really NOT. But who cares? #except me LOL#
Bottom line, this program is geared toward non-tax people with simple returns.
What's great about it: Great for BASIC return
What's not so great: asks esoteric questions with little or no explanation, no context sensitive help, no direct link to related IRS page
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been a CPA and practicing since 1973. Anybody who had to survive and succeed with a pencil and paper for taxes can attest to how great this product is. I believe I've been using TurboTax for at least the last 10 years and have no intention of changing (I'm too old!)
What's great about it: ease of use, and more important consistency year to year
What's not so great: nothing leaps out
