Easy to Use

I have used TurboTax for several years, and I find it easy to follow. The step-by-step guide is especially helpful when your tax situation changes due to new laws, job changes, life changes and investment changes.
I gladly recommend it to anyone!
What's great about it: Walks through all of the details so you don't miss anything.

You're always improving!

I am a loyal customer because of the efforts Intuit puts forward in improving the user's experience. The areas I had difficulties with in the past have changed for the better, to where I feel more confident using Turbo Tax. More specifically, you've made great changes over the years with handling the military retirement's 1099-R Form. Secondly, the 1099-B was a breeze this year in comparison to previous years. Thanks!!!
What's great about it: New updates in preparing Form 1099-B
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have used TurboTax for years and love it.
What's great about it: most of it was very easy
What's not so great: had a problem on a K-1 and it was difficult to go back and correct

Always good and reliable

I was using TaxCut because it was locally cheaper, but switched three years ago TurboTax and was surprised how the process flow was so much smoother. I also converted to everything Apple I had many issues with Quicken Essentials but that appears to be addressed with Quicken for Mac 2015. Overall the combination for Quicken and TurboTax Premier is the best way I have found to keep track of all my finances and manage tax obligations.
What's great about it: Very complete, detailed, downloads data from banks and brokerages, saves a lot of time.
What's not so great: Some re-entry of ID / Passwords, needs more employer W-2, local banks, and credit unions, 1099 sources

Unhelpful error messages - couldn't eFile !!!

I got error messages like "Capital GainWks (.): Part IV, line 4a should be entered." . I couldn't any such fields anywhere on any screen. I couldn't fix this problem at all !!!

Either these error messages should be changed, or these fields should be shown on the screen.

On the Charitable deductions;
Wish I'd known before I started.
I think I will simplify what I do next year.
You finally figured that you don't need to enter an address on every charitable entity, just those over $500 in items.

What's great about it: you fixed the Charitable Deduct section,
What's not so great: you lost my previous year carry over on CA state forms

Difficult to File

It took so much time to try to file without having Audit Defense charges added to filing fees.
