2014 Tax Filing

Based on prior years compared to this year I will cancel my automatic shipment and go to a local tax preparer for 2015. The constant aggravation with having to upgrade and experience of not having the State return information ready destroyed my confidence in Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: None based on the aggravation I experienced this year compared to prior years
What's not so great: It seemed like I purchased Advantage and did not realize I needed the Premier version.

Paying Again - Bummer Taxes

Been using this for about 20 years. It's great. Thanks for having it easy, bringing in our old info, giving us the new info, letting us ask questions.
What's great about it: It is easy, takes me through everything.
What's not so great: Had to upgrade, but at least that was free

What's great about it: Good organizing tool
What's not so great: A bit less easy to use if you must prepare two states - consider a side-by-side with state numbers.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

TAXES!

I wasn't excited to have to pay more for the additional capital gains section this year.
What's great about it: Easy to do!
What's not so great: The extra cost of the program.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax does it again

Great App!! We have been using Turbo Tax for the past 10 years and I would not go anywhere else for my tax preparation.
What's great about it: The best part is importing all of your information from the previous year and then doing a few edits
What's not so great: Some of the forms are difficult to find, but the friendly Help Desk does a terrific job of answering our questions
