Easy to use each year.

I recommend to all. Don't be timid, you can easily do this.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: Questions not that easily answered sometimes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Got 'er done!

I've been using TurboTax for years. Every year it gets a little better, but it's not perfect for my situation. There are a few areas where I still need to refer to IRS or State Tax publications to make sure that I enter the correct information.
What's great about it: Much better than IRS forms and instruction
What's not so great: Some things have to be researched

Turbo should check the missing address on 1099-R

Turbo Tax should automatically check the address line of form 1099-R, and perhaps other forms, to make sure the line is not missing.

always provide last years details, such as - I didn't get a bank statement for Interest and it would have been helpful to have that in hand.
What's great about it: almost always intuitive
What's not so great: could delineate between 2013 and current return better

Super Product

I've been using Turbo Tax for years, both personal and business editions. They are super easy to use and I love the guidance features in addition to being able to manually enter data. I will continue to use it for years in the future. Also I love the e-filing feature with the email and mobile phone notifications. Great product!
What's great about it: Very easy to use, love the guidance and help features.

If I could find tax software as good as TurboTax, without the add-ons I would switch. the first few years I used it, it was this exactly. It appears that this year much more has been piled on--but then I may have forgotten the junk on the system last year.
Worse, I ordered the Mac version only to find--when I went to use it in April--that it was written so as to be incompatible with the version of Mac OSX that I have been using with it for years. No clue why it needed to be written version-incompatible, but it was. As a result I had to start from scratch on the PC with the Win version--it works but it's still a PC with all the drawbacks it has.
What's great about it: The actual tax software is rock solid and as good as ever
What's not so great: The addons drove me crazy--click here, log on there, add your filing pin here, sign up for this and that and the other.

I Trust Turbo Tax Year after Year

I love using Turbo Tax and have for many, many years. My one issue this year is that it when it comes to state taxes, it tells me that my state (WA) doesn't have state filing and click on continue. Then later in the process it says that they noticed I haven't filed my free state filing yet! Hmmm, maybe it could remember that it isn't required. This is minor, but kind of irritating.
What's great about it: Ease of use, walkthrough of all items to ensure nothing is missed, accuracy
What's not so great: Doesn't remember that my state doesn't have state taxes to file
Pros: I bought or sold investments
