Gets easier every year.

Perhaps refining the process of "creating" K-1's vs. entering information from a "received" K-1. Also a statement clarifying reporting "income" via a K-1 which is different than reporting "principal" (such as non-taxable income from closing an estate). It took me quite awhile to figure it out when a simple statement clarifying the difference would have made it much simpler. It's really an IRS problem, but clarifying it in Turbo would have helped.
Other than that, thanks for a great product!

What's great about it: Importing previous info, going step by step.
What's not so great: Entering info from K-1 was confusing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent software

TurboTax is one of the most innovative software ever. I have been using it for 15 years and have no complaints. Maybe, you should remove the AMT section!!!

State e-file upcharge is contemptible!

TurboTax years ago eliminated the federal e-file upcharge, but still gouges its tired customers for the state e-file. Did anyone buy a state return so they could print and mail? I am fed up with this hassle, and take it as personal insult and abuse every year.
Free upgrade to Premium for Schedule D was a nice customer relations touch. State e-filing should be included in every state return for same good customer relations.
What's great about it: Federal e-filing is included in price.
What's not so great: Manually state e-filing on free state website to save the upcharge!

Peace of Mind!

Until I started using Turbo Tax I was not only behind in my filings but I had to pay up to $900 for my accountant to do the job. With him I was audited twice... since turbo tax I am done on time... my husbands stress is lowered... and it was a small fee to purchase the program
What's great about it: I like that I can stop and start as my schedule allows and get it safely ready to file.
What's not so great: Sometimes I think I won't get through the lists but I bought it to be complete so I cannot really complain.

The only real issue I had was trying to keep from double reporting earnings from Stock Options. My company puts the earnings on our W-2, and the broker sends in a 1099 as well. Found one Q&A that talked about this, and many unanswered questions.
Only other complaint is having to go to the next higher $ version this year to get the same ability as last year...
