I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have always been happy with the ease of use.
What's great about it: easy to use, detail oriented
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Suggestions on defining time share second property

I've used turbo tax for years and have felt comfortable with it and with the support to walk me accurately through my taxes. This year is the first year where I had difficulty with understanding an aspect I did not have previously. In 2014 I bought a timeshare and obtained a loan to finance part of it. It was extremely confusing whether I needed to file under rental properties to deduct the loan (mortgage expense) or in another area. And whether it was considered a rental or not. Ultimately, through the responses in the user community it appeared that I needed to put the mortgage interest under my home mortgage, but that just still seems odd. I'm hoping in the future releases that there will be more clarity around time shares as the research took a great deal of time and many of us do own these.
What's great about it: Feel very comfortable that the product walks me through most aspects of what I need to consider
What's not so great: Missing guidance on second property / time share

Massachusetts E-filing this year!

Previous years, there were problems e-filing my state return; this year it went through *and* payment to state directly taken from my bank account.
I had no problem figuring out where to enter everything, including stock info flowing through from a multi-person privately run account.
Always good, but this is the best Turbo Tax yet.

What's not so great: Would be nice if you stored my Intuit login info in tax file

TurboTax handled my somewhat complicated return!

Overall, TurboTax handled my somewhat complicated return easily. It took a long time to gather everything I needed, but it was done. I am confident I am getting the biggest possible refund and submitted an accurate return.
What's great about it: Following the directions is easy.
What's not so great: State e-filing keeps getting more expensive.

2014 Tax

I have liked the way the personal info is moved to the next year's taxes to eliminate keying errors. Please put the Forms back in Deluxe. I have not required the help in TurboTax to complete my taxes.
What's great about it: liked for many years
What's not so great: Change made by Turbotax which required update to complete taxes.
