Easiy to use and thorough

Great experience as always.
What's great about it: Very detailed
What's not so great: Reassurance notifications so that the user knows that certain things are being taken into consideration.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So easy to use

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I was nervous this year when they changed the CD's. But Turbo Tax made it right, right away which helped me make my decision to stay with Turbo Tax for another year. Thank you Turbo Tax for writing such a user friendly tax program. Satisfied customer for more than 20 years.
What's great about it: Easy to skip around or go page by page.

Gettin better!

Why not just let me push the print button. In some of the previous years, I was not able to print. This year, I could print, but it was still a hassle. Need to move that "user friendliness" to the print function.
What's great about it: Asked all the right questions in the right places. User friendly.
What's not so great: When I get to the end and I want to print a copy for myself, the "user friendliness" disappears.

Got me through a tough year

I had a lot of new forms and questions this year with both a retirement and a death in the family. I was concerned that I had not done something right so I had a CPA look over my effort. I had missed something, but not because TurboTax forgot to ask me. It was easy to correct my forms to include the missing information. TT also helped me translate a form from my broker that was a bit hard to read, very nice.
What's great about it: Presented forms and questions that were new to me in an understandable manner
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to exit a section withour hitting "continue" a number of times
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

if you have medicare and premiums are shown in Form SSA1099,why doesn't the program pick that up and eliminate the need to complete the health insurance coverage area?
I would like to see a worksheet added showing medical expense
categories and the calculation of deductible amount.

Good to the last drop in of my figures.

Over all, Turbo Tax is a great program, knows where to put all the figures I input and produces a correct, acceptable tax return every time.
What's great about it: TurboTax leads me all the way to the end for an accurate return and still looks for all the savings I may have.
What's not so great: Disappointed this year not being able to E-File my state returns just because I need to pay and mail my federal return.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've used turbo tax for several years now and having last years' information dumped into the form makes everything make sense. I'll continue to use this service.
I don't like having to pay an additional amount to e-file my state forms.
What's great about it: I liked having questions to answer that led to getting the right information.
What's not so great: Owing taxes, but that's not your fault.
