Turbo Tax Premium

I was disappointed that I had to buy the premier this year to do some stock items that I did on the deluxe last year. I was told that may change again next year for the 2015 filing.
What's great about it: Turbo tax is really easy to follow.
What's not so great: Some IRA or Retirement can be a little tricky at times.

Error discovered at efile point again.

Got all the way to e-filing and system said I must manually file because my W-2 has a non-standard state code on line 15. My wife is a county employee and they use "CS" to differentiate CASDI information. This triggers an error that forces me to not enter a code and then manually enter "CS" as a second entry on line 15 of W-2. This error flags after setting up state e-file. Not sure if it has charged my credit card the state e-file fee.
This happened last year also. I think I was charged an state e-file fee then too but I didn't do anything about it.
What's great about it: Easy to do return
What's not so great: Problem with county employee w2 using non standard state code on line 15.

No refund for me, but...

I didn't get a refund, but TurboTax makes it easy for me to do my own taxes. Having investments with capital gains and losses makes it difficult to figure out my taxes on my own. Turbo tax goes out on the internet to my broker, captures the information needed to complete my return and fills out all of the forms for me.
What's great about it: easy to use, does all the work for me
What's not so great: none

What's great about it: Very exact,Year before tax info saved to save time.

Adjustment code on Schedule B

When I reviewed my return it told me I needed to insert an "Adjustment Code" on my stock trades. I had no idea what was wrong and it took a bit of playing around to allow me to file.
What's not so great: Difficult to fix
