I've used Turbo Tax for about 10 years and really have not had any problems with it.
What's great about it: very easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

TurboTax 2014

I feel confident about my usage of TurboTax as I have used it for many years. I do get a lot of questions that don't apply to me nor do I expect those questions to ever apply; however, it's good to know if they ever did they would be there.
What's great about it: Ease of preparation
What's not so great: Lot of questions that don't pertain to me
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Getting worse every year

Because I have all my data in TurboTax I am reluctant to switch to another tax product, but now considering.
What's great about it: Have used for 20+ years, familiar with usual quirks
What's not so great: New quirks

Easy to use

The only problem I had was TurboTax did not use all of last year's data, other than that it was fast and easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy and accurate
What's not so great: Did not retain and use all of last year's informatiom

Received rent for some farmland inherited and had to use Premier version just for that. We don't farm or run our own business, are not self employed and don't really have "rental property". Wish this simple situation could be included in Deluxe. Thanks.

Charitable Organization Worksheet

We had 27 cash only donations and 1 with cash and small material donation.
3 pages needed to document each donation.
Suggestion -- have separate one page report for cash donations have a separate two page report for "Other Item Donations", Mileage and Transportation Costs", and "Stock Donations".

This would have prevented my having to print (27 times 2) extra pages to document the 27 cash donations for my files.

In the past got free e-file fed and state. This year paid more got less. Not only had to pay for an extra state download, also had to pay again to file it. Won't happen again. I'm not happy.
