GREAT!!! AS USUAL

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX SINCE THE DAYS IT WAS IN DOS---- I KNOW, I MUST BE OLD. TRIED OTHERS AT VARIOUS TIMES, BUT ALWAYS CAME BACK TO TURBO TAX.
What's great about it: USUAL STRAIGHT FORWARD PROCESS
What's not so great: SOME OF THE FINAL SCREENS WERE CONFUSING, LIKE I WAS GOING IN A CIRCLE

The only way to file your taxes

I have used Turbo Tax for about 30 years now. Would not do y taxes any other way. When we started having investments to claim on our taxes I was a little hesitant but decided to give Turbo Tax a try. It was a breeze. I get a sense of satisfaction whenever I finish my taxes. No appointments needed, I can start and stop at my leisure. So simple.
What's great about it: Easy conversion from last year--imported everything
What's not so great: The stocks were a little tricky---but managed to do it

Great experience as usual (over 20 years of use)

I have used software to do my taxes since the MacInTax versions in the 1970's. Each year the design has been better and more detailed worksheets to add information. No one should be afraid to do their own taxes using the appropriate version of TurboTax! The sophistication is there but so is the support and the simplicity!
What's great about it: Straight forward entries

A Loyal User gives Turbo tax a "High-Five"--Again

Overall, Turbo Tax software worked well and was effective, efficient and was easy to use. However, the "review"--error-correct screens were not. Often it hard to tell what had to correct, how and where.--but I got through it. Overall, Turbo Tax with it's supporting help guides, etc. was very helpful and makes for a fast and thorough tax filing experience
What's great about it: Turbo tax directs you very clearly and gives you many options to enter tax data or change or modify as needed.
What's not so great: A little more specific instruction on filing review "error" forms to correct or complete. or what needed changing.

This year I completed a family trust. While working with the Deductions and Homeowners TurboTax disk I was informed that I needed the next upgrade of TurboTax to complete the trust portion. However, I was able to upload the upgrade at no additional cost from TurboTax. This allowed me to complete my taxes with the original disk I purchased. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOU HELP AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. Consider me a TurboTax customer for life! :) NorCal Paul
