Turbo tax is excellent programs which I uses every year and this year I do jump up to higher Turbo Tax level

Less Extensive Than I Had Anticipated

In 2012 I was able to use the Basic Edition. In 2013, I had to move up to the Deluxe Edition. For 2014, the Premiere Edition was required. All this despite my tax situation not having changed at all. The Premiere edition is now required if you have received a Schedule K-1 (Partnership), although it was never required in the past. So what does one get for the step-up in price? The program STILL does not automatically transfer K-1-based "Other Income" to Line 21 on Form 1040. While this should be an easy fix, it certainly shouldn't continue to be a problem when Intuit is asking its customers to cough up continually increasing prices just to cover an incomplete, inaccurate K-1. My tax situation isn't overly complicated, so next year I intend to file manually.
What's great about it: Clear, concise, easy to use
What's not so great: Premiere Edition, required for K-1's, overpriced to be incomplete

I have used Turbo Tax for years, and each year I "Thank God for Turbo Tax". The ease of use from input to filing, and I do love how it will download my info for w-2, 1098 1099.....

I love TurboTax

I have been a TurboTax customer for several years. I am so pleased with the program.
This year, for the first time, I hit a glitch with entering my credit card number for filing the state return. So I had the opportunity to contact Customer Service. Brittany was incredibly helpful, guiding me through the process for entering the necessary code. I am a happy customer.
What's great about it: So easy to use for those of us who are "tech challenged!!"
What's not so great: That the numbers on my return don't contain a few more "0000's"
