great software for best refund

This is my 7th year with Turbo Tax, wouldn't do taxes any other way.
What's great about it: ease of use; privacy

Worked but had some issues.

Improved over last years version. In 2013 they had a major bug in handling mutual sell and transfer of information that made me file by mail or request an extension and wait for them to fix the bug. This year this has been fixed and worked great. The only issue I had was that there was a bug in the Mississippi form on tax interest. This would not let me e-file, but I was able to delete the form, since I did not owe any interest. I don't think this effects too many people.
What's great about it: Improved greatly over 2013
What's not so great: Ran into bug with Mississippi return.

Disappointed in 2014 Turbotax

I had the most problems loading software in 20 years. TurboTax let me download a copy and it still did NOT work on my windows 7 and Vista (backup copy) laptop. I had to figure out the problem myself. If I see a problem I am not sure how to report it easy, i.e. a problem in January with state return . I only need on state software i.e. 1. entered bust still got a review error and 2. I can NOT find how to remove the 2nd state from my options. For tax free Interest for specifying the state is simple. For Dividends, tax free is the old format. I entered it but got an error message in the review (it was missing). I am seriously think of looking a a different product for 2015.
What's great about it: I have used turbo tax for 20 years. I use it to estimate my 2015 tax due. I am familiar with it
What's not so great: I am extremely disappointed in 2014 software

What's great about it: Has never failed me even in the most complex tax situations - and my CPA can import my tax data into HER TurboTax Pro !

Pretty Easy to use, Just a bit more work

I give turbo tax a pretty positive review. Lots of easy to read guides and straight forward choices. However, As i do a lot of investing and trading in the markets, i found Turbo Tax could still improve some of its wash sales and other trading worksheets. Overall a pretty solid experience, and would recommend to most common users.
What's great about it: Ability to handle lots of investing and trades
What's not so great: Lack of wash sales and guides relating to them

I have used TurboTax for decades, and considering where software is today, this was the most disappointing version. Next year I am checking out other options.

ON A SCALEOF 1-10, TURBO TAX IS A 8. IF PRINTING WAS IMPROVED, THE RATINH WOULD BE A 10. PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS HAVE BEEN VERY POOR FOR SEVERAL YEAS.
What's great about it: OVERALL TURBO TAX PROGRAM IS A VERY GOOD PROGRAM
What's not so great: PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.
