Consistently reliable year after year !!

For years I prepared tax returns for myself and others. I no longer prepare for others. If I did, I would be able to complete at least 10 times the number of returns. The time saved by Turbo Tax recording, saving and calculating is phenomenal. A non accountant could do as well preparing a tax return with Turbo Tax as an experience accountant could with or without Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Continuous updates right through April 15th.
What's not so great: Getting more difficult to go to a specific tax form to make correction

Great product!
What's great about it: Easy to use. Intuitive. Will recommend to others.
What's not so great: For 2014 Michigan Return, CF-1040 Battle Creek Return has an error on Line 24d from W-2.

data entry for K-1 forms does not provide for all the information contained in K-1s received from owned MLPs.

Great Customer Service

Sold my second home but had questions and was upgraded from TurboTax Deluxe to Premium at no charge along with having a CPA (Gary) made available to very kindly without rushing guide me over the phone in correctly filing my return.
Kudos to TurboTax and Gary for great customer service!
What's great about it: Support Available When You Need It.

Not sure the K-1 is handled right--

I had a loss from a small partnership of over 1000.00, and it is reported on a K-1. Turbo Tax filled out the form related to K-1's, but showed 0.00 loss. I had no time to check into this, but I am afraid I may have lost a deduction.

I needed a Box 5 not alphabet number on all Boxes. I just hope that I did it right.

Difficult to correct errors

You need to make it possible to go back and correct errors without editing the complete section in which the error occurred. When a category is completed and "done" is clicked you should return to the next category instead of reverting back to the top of the page and making it necessary to scroll down through all of the completed categories to get to the next one that you need to work on.
