2014 Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for roughly 15 or so years. It is generally an easy to use program. It provides a thorough review. I thought this version was more difficult to navigate screens and find information.
What's great about it: Provides a thorough review
What's not so great: Difficult to navigate through some of the screens compared to prior versions

Last Year's Data Transfer

Too many of your customers get data from the wrong previous year's return carried forward and then have to start over from scratch when they realize something is wrong. You need allow a reload of prior yea data at anytime in the process.
What's great about it: nice feature
What's not so great: no recovery if wrong return picked up once you have started

Have always like Turbo Tax

I have always found Turbo Tax so nice and easy to use. It takes the guess work out of filing taxes. However this year, I was getting frustrated because it wanted a code from a form that was blank on the form. It would not let me e-file as it took the blank box as an error, so I had to paper file.
What's great about it: Easy to use - walks you through everything. Remembers everything from last year's return.

Overall, another very good experience. Sometimes I tried to get "more info" and a blank help box appeared. I also would like to be able to compare individual entries with last year's data. The step-by-step guidance was again excellent and made the process worth the cost of the system. One suggestion for future features would be to offer a set of spreadsheets to be used for keeping the current year's records that are tailored to last year's categories, which would facilitate organizing the data throughout the year, and would be simpler to format and use that a generic package like Quickbooks.
What's great about it: Helpful guidance through many forms; easy to switch to and from forms mode
What's not so great: Hard to compare at every step with last year's return data

I feel so confident using Turbo Tax. It's quick and easy to use. I love how it compare the previous year's deductions to ensure you don't forget anything.
And, I love how quickly I get my refund.
What's great about it: Quick and easy, I 've used Turbo Tax for years and love it

No refund, but at least saving money w/TurboTax

This is a very easy to use product I would recommend to everyone that would like to save a decent chunk of change by not paying others to do it. Especially if you have extra forms (former business owner) that need filled out. That's where the walk in places gouge you.
Great for 2nd time TT users as well, because of the carry over of information. Saves time, next time.
I never expect a refund , but save probably $300 to do with this product. Good Job TT!!!
What's great about it: Price and ease of use over paying others to do something these guys make simple!
