Very good experience once again. Will use Turbo Tax again.
What's great about it: Thorough and leads you step by step
What's not so great: Would be nice to upload investment sales from an Excel spreadsheet

Interactive Form Selection

Interactive list of forms to select from would expedite things. Choose the 5498-SA, 1099 div, etc etc, fill those areas out and move on. Or, at least select them so if we fail to enter in the information somewhere the software will know we have more info that we need to enter, and highlight areas that need attention.
What's great about it: Thorough and Easy
What's not so great: Form access nested deep within menues
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I used to pay to have my taxes done, but realized that Turbo Tax could help me get them done at a cheaper rate. Thanks for learning the tax code each year and helping me file my taxes.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax always makes it easy to file my taxes
What's not so great: Turbo Tax tried to change the form I always use-shameful

Thank God For Turbo Tax

Taxes are one of the few things I dread every year. Turbo Tax makes it as easy as I can see humanly possible. I could not conceive the average person like myself doing taxes by hand.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Filing Fees Seem Excessive and Are Not Presented Up Front

Good tool but not worth upgrade

I have been a loyal user of TurboTax for many, many years. I have always found the tool easy to use and very intuitive. I was very disappointed and frustrated that I had to purchase the premium version this year to handle my limited schedule D items where the deluxe version would always do the job in the past. Sadly, this is likely my last year as a turbo tax user. There are alternatives that will work for my simple return and I intend to explore them. I recommend everyone do the same.
