Easy

How simple can it get?! A great benefit is the ability to import your previous year's return information up front. If one is a newbie, TT makes it easy to create, complete, and file, too. Having never had a problem with any of my TT filings, I feel qualified to tout the simplicity and accuracy of TT...buy and apply with confidence!
What's great about it: Simple and effecient, very easy to input and complete a return.
What's not so great: None thus far, after using TT for 10+ years.

Frustrated

We purchased and loaded the Deluxe CD on my computer. I tried to print my return to review it and all the forms were blank but on the screen you could see the completed information. We followed the print directions per your web page instructions to no avail. Received a print error message "to try later." This was after we sent it to the printer for our review and received blank pages. I have attempted to print the pages the for a week.
We have used this programs for many years and this is the first time we have not been able to print our return. I'm not happy with the inability to print for review. Why have the print for review button if it doesn't work. Request someone notify me when we can print.
What's great about it: Able to complete tax return.
What's not so great: Unable to print it.

2014 Turbo Tax experience

In the past I simply purchased Turbo Tax Deluxe Federal and State, but this year I did the same, but due to changes I had to return it and purchase the Premier version due to the uncertainty that the Deluxe version would not meed my needs. Apparently some changes were made to this year's Deluxe version causing confusion and inconveniences figuring it all out. I was very disappointed with Turbo Tax this year.
What's great about it: Electronic filing
What's not so great: Changes to this year's versions
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax drove me crazy this year!

not happy w/ TT this year.Bought 2 diff. versions-
What's great about it: EASY TO NAVIGATE THROUGH RETURN
What's not so great: had to pay more for the Premier because of the things that was left out of deluxe

Very disappointed that I had to upgrade to Premier from Deluxe because we had a home sale in 2014. And then I found out that people who purchase Deluxe after February 7 with get a free upgrade to Premier. I believe I should be refunded my upgrade fee.
What's great about it: consistency with prior years
What's not so great: had to upgrade to Premier

could not find help on a 1099-S from the sale of an inherited real estate; and on a 1098-C from a donation over $500.
What's great about it: mostly easy to follow thru
What's not so great: wanted to print/US Mail my return for sate, but forms noted "DO NOT FILE... FORM NOT FINAL"

Had to upgrade to Premier to complete my tax return this year but Turbo Tax has stepped up and taken care of my issue.
What's great about it: Easy to Use. Have used since 1994.
What's not so great: Had to upgrade to Premier version this year.
