Angry with Turbo Tax changes to the Deluxe Edition

After using Turbo Tax Deluxe Edition for at least 12 years I was very angry when I got it home and discovered it did not cover investments. Turbo Tax claimed this was not done to charge more money but that is ridiculous.I had planned to continue using TT but I don't like the way this was handled and may look for an alternative.
What's not so great: Contacting Customer Service only allows you to ask a question, not submit a complaint.

Product has gotten terribly slow and unreliable

It's taken me 3 hours to just complete the review. You can't save your work as you go along because it crashes as you save. It also crashes if you get too far into the review process. I had a lot of changes needed to be made, and the 30 second pause between screens is not acceptable
What's great about it: Can take in files from my brokerage
What's not so great: Product is buggy and crashes. It's taken me 3 hours to complete just the filing steps.

Makes filing so easy

I dread doing my taxes then I get going with Turbotax and I wonder why it took me so long to do it.
I do wish there was a list of needed documents at the front end so you don't have to stop and do hunting as you work through the questions. If there is one, I can't find it.
What's great about it: Walks you through all possible deductions in English instead of legaleeze
What's not so great: No list of documents you need to gather before you start

2014 TT

TT can't be beaten. In spite of some minor problems TT still is better than an expensive accountant.
This was the first time I was subject to the AMT. I tried manipulating all sorts of numbers and read some IRS articles on the topic but could not figure out why I was subject to the AMT.
Perhaps TT could clearly explain why a user/filer is subject to the AMT.

What's great about it: It's easier than manually filling out forms. TT guides me through everything.
What's not so great: "Notifications" need some work by TT.

Super Easy to use

Super easy to fill out and get the maximum refund possible!
Once I had all the receipts and statements, I was able to complete my entire federal and state review in less than 4 hours

The software for 1099B is unfathomable. Imported a 1099B from the broker, so it was entered EXACTLY as sent from the broker, but your software insisted on adding information that simply WAS NOT THERE. Please fix this for 2015.

It would be nice, if TurboTax could be customized, with a few clicks, to the individuals previous year's selections and filings, without causing distractions from other unnecessary forms.
What's great about it: Allows you to compare the previous year's tax forms for reference.
What's not so great: The myriad if unnecessary forms

I must pay taxes on the Trust for my niece. It would be nice if I could do it here instead of also buying TurboTax Business - not worth it for the piddly amount!
What's great about it: Questions and explanations
What's not so great: doesn't include form 1041 for the estate I managed for my niece
