What's great about it: System catches everything/missed or incorrect entries
What's not so great: Can't access the State instruction booklet

Terrific Tech help

The CD Deluxe version needed an update to Premier from on-line. That undertaking required lots of input from a not so computer savvy customer. These Techs, with unbelievable patience and prompting got it done with class and empathy never before experienced on the phone. First class people, Thank You

Very user friendly

I trust TurboTax above any other tax application because Intuit has an impeccable reputation and I have never had a problem with the accuracy of my return. In addition, the price is right and so much more cost effective than having a big name tax preparer. In using TurboTax, I like how you have options to choose what you want to enter or have the application walk you through it step by step. The filing process could not be easier. It gets better every year!
What's great about it: Easy to use, intuitive and accurate

Helped out when earning income from two or more states.
What's great about it: easy instructions & straight forward questions
What's not so great: No free state tax fillings allowed, should allow at least one.

The cost of the Premier is over two times the cost of the Deluxe version. Please put the investment section back into the deluxe version or I will use choose another brand.
What's great about it: I have used TurboTax for decades and love its process.
What's not so great: I don't like the fact that I had to purchase the Premier version instead of the Deluxe just because I had stock sales.

Is it understandable

I have used Turbo tax for over 20 years.
Generally eases task accomplishment
The transfer of prior year data to current year is seamless and good.
Prior to 20 some years ago I did the tax return myself manually
What's great about it: Generally interview method is concise and logical
What's not so great: how do I terminate Schedule C without difficulty

Have been using turbo tax for last 10 years and would not consider doing taxes any other way
What's great about it: Easy to use walked me through all steps I retired this year so had many different incomes to report

Not enough questions about passive losses

Questions related to K-1s did not ask enough about passive losses and passive income to have form 8582 used correctly.
What's great about it: Liked being able to edit at a very "low" level
What's not so great: My passive losses weren't handled correctly without personal editing
