Didn't completely meet my needs

I've used Turbotax for years, but liked it less this year. This year we had a small capital gain on one investment and a tiny income from self employment. Turbotax wanted me to upgrade from Deluxe to Premier just to report the one capital gain, and then wanted another upgrade to deal with the <$100 self-employment income I had. This is ridiculous. Felt really mean-spirited. I will think twice about using Turbotax next year.
What's great about it: Imported my old data, easy to navigate
What's not so great: couldn't handle a small capital gain and a tiny self employment issue without expensive upgrades

I've used turbo tax for years they walk you through each step. if you can answer their questions you can do your own taxes.
What's great about it: makes it easy to file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Smooth and easy

I've been using TT for several years and am quite happy with the results. The walk thru portion makes it easy for anyone to understand if you are unfamiliar with any part of the forms.
I had one problem with printing out my forms and tech support walked me through all the troubleshooting til my problem was resolved. Could not be mo' bettah than that.

What's great about it: TT takes the strain out of doing my own taxes.

One Failure cancelled e-file

The issue of payment from nonqualified pension programs that result in two W-2s, each incomplete, needs to be resolved by TurboTax. This can't be that unusual, and a solution would be very beneficial.
What's great about it: Excellent format, flow. I like to do my own thing and skip to interview route
What's not so great: Because I had a W-2 with no entry in box 1, I could not file electronically

Dissapointed

After years of using TTax Deluxe I found out Intuit isn't going to support Sch D. They are moving it to the Premier and above versions only. If I find out that Sch D is not supported in Deluxe for tax year 2015, I'm moving to a new, cheaper, product.
What's great about it: TTax Deluxe used to address all my needs
What's not so great: Intuit Pulling Sch D from TTax Deluxe

I have been using TurboTax forever and have never considered going to a CPA.
What's great about it: The look and feel are consistent and the questions really help.
What's not so great: Some of the forms/workpapers can be confusing
