they ask all the right questions all you have to do is plug in the figures given on your forms

I have used Turbo Tax for many years now, and don't generally need a lot of the extra guidance and on deductions, investments, self employment, rental properties, etc. I have been able to file using the Basic Edition only. This year, however, I was forced to upgrade all the way to Premium in order to enter all of my necessary forms. I'm not happy about that!
What's not so great: Was forced to upgrade twice during my filing.

Need Premier for Stock related filings

The Turbotax help in my Deluxe copy was good. Searched for form 8949 and was able to quickly understand I needed to upgrade to Premier for my specific stock situation from this past year.
What's great about it: Upgrade to Premier was free
What's not so great: Didn't know I needed it until I could not find where to enter form 8949

Ease of Use

We've been using Turbo Tax since 2007 and wouldn't file our taxes any other way. This year we had sales of stock and transfers out of 401(k) Plans. I was dreading doing the taxes this year but Turbo Tax guided me step by step on what was needed to complete the returns. THANK YOU !

Should really consider putting in a question in the deductions interview section regarding Portfolio Management Fees. This is a very good deduction for anyone who pays a third party a management fee to manage their investments and can be easily overlooked if you are not aware of where to put it!!!
